Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated drywaller/taper to join our dynamic construction team. This role is vital in transforming raw building frameworks into polished, finished surfaces ready for painting and final touches. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in drywall installation, taping, and finishing, combined with a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude. Duties
Install drywall panels accurately according to project specifications
Tape joints seamlessly, ensuring smooth transitions between panels for a flawless surface
Apply finishing compounds (mud) to achieve a smooth, even surface ready for painting or further finishing
Perform caulking around seams, corners, and fixtures to ensure airtight and watertight finishes
Read and interpret drawings to guide installation processes
Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to cut, shape, and install drywall materials
Conduct touch-ups and repairs as needed to meet quality standards and project deadlines

Skills
Proven experience in drywall installation, taping, and finishing with a strong attention to detail




Knowledge of construction painting techniques to prepare surfaces for final coats
Solid construction experience with an understanding of framing, carpentry, and general building practices
Ability to read drawings accurately and translate plans into precise work
Skilled in caulking, patching, sanding, and surface preparation for a professional finish
Handyman experience that includes minor repairs, carpentry tasks, or related trades is highly desirable
Strong teamwork ethic combined with excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively in office

Pay: $24.50-$32.50 per hour
