Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist/Assistant to join our dental practice. This role is essential in providing excellent patient care, managing front desk operations, and supporting the clinical team. The ideal candidate will have experience with dental office procedures, solid administrative skills, and proficiency with electronic medical records systems. Duties
Greet patients warmly and check them in efficiently using electronic medical records systems such as Opendental.
Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and coordinate patient flow
Verify patient insurance information and update records accurately
Prepare patients for examinations by updating medical histories and assisting with paperwork
Assist the dental team with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing patient records
Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean,



and welcoming
Handle billing and payment processing at the front desk
Support clinical staff with light administrative duties as needed
Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Experience
Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a dental office setting is highly preferred
Experience working with electronic medical records systems, such as Opendental, is advantageous
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care is beneficial
Previous office experience, including front desk duties and multi-line phone systems management, is required
Familiarity with medical or dental office procedures and administrative practices is desirable
Robust organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role

Pay: $19.30-$31.98 per hour
