Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic food service setting, providing a welcoming experience for all customers. Prior experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks using POS systems such as Micros POS
Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling and food safety practices
Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide outstanding customer service
Operate POS terminals efficiently to process orders swiftly and accurately
Ensure timely service during busy periods by managing multiple tasks effectively
Uphold food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
Maintain a clean and organized work setting,



including cleaning equipment and workstations

Experience
Previous experience as a barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
Valuable time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is beneficial
Experience in serving, food preparation, and food service environments will support success in this role

Pay: $17.60-$24.00 per hour
