Job Description
Unload/Load freight from trailers and load outbound trailers using forklifts.
Label Freight
Count and on occasion is required to weigh items to ensure conformance to the shipper's bill of lading
Starts heaters, placard trailers as required.
Must take an active role in the safety and maintenance of the warehouse by sweeping the floor, proper storage of dunnage,
etc.
Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications
WHIMS/Dangerous Goods Certificate (These items are covered with in-house training programs)
Developed problem-solving, critical thinking, decision-making, and judgment skills
Able to lift 50 lbs, sometimes repetitive
Ability to multitask and manage various tasks successfully
Willing to Train
PT role could lead to full-time
Must be safety-minded.
Must be goal-oriented.
Forklift experience
