Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Back of House Team Member to join our kitchen team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality food, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring efficient kitchen operations. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and is committed to supporting their team. Prior kitchen experience is an asset but not required, comprehensive training will be provided to ensure success in this role.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to Chick-fil-A standards and recipes
Ensure all food is prepared quickly, accurately, and with attention to quality and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, including equipment and workstations
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times
Assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating inventory to ensure freshness and minimize waste
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Communicate effectively with front of house team members to ensure smooth order flow
Manage time effectively during high-volume periods to meet service expectations
Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures as required
Support team members in maintaining a positive,



efficient, and team-focused environment

Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
Solid attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety
Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Basic understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established systems and processes
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and movement
