Job description:
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated carpenter or experienced labourer to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of construction, including carpentry, concrete work, and renovations. This role offers an prospect to work on a wide variety of projects from basement developments, to decks/fences, and garages in and around Calgary. The successful applicant will be committed to safety, quality craftsmanship, and efficient project completion.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively on various job sites.
Construct and install millwork, siding, framing, and other varies tasks related to the project being completed.
Must be comfortable working alone at times and being accountable to quality of work.
Maintain a clean and organized work workplace to ensure safety and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Proven experience in construction-related roles with knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and concrete finishing.
Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation.
Solid carpentry skills including woodworking, finishing, and framing.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding environments.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards at all times.
Prior experience working with basement development, renovations, decks/fences, and garages would be beneficial.
Willing to train a motivated person who wants to learn about carpentry/construction.
Must have own transportation as we work all around town.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
