One of our client in GTA region is looking for a Tooling Engineer for their Tier 1 & Tier 2 manufacturing facility.

Pay - $90K

Key Responsibilities:
Design installation tooling, fixtures, jigs, and support equipment for SPAC installation and assembly operations.
Develop detailed 3D models, drawings, and manufacturing documentation using CAD software.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, Production Teams, and Project Managers to understand tooling requirements and installation processes.
Conduct feasibility studies, tolerance stack-up analyses, and design reviews.
Ensure tooling designs meet quality, safety, ergonomic, and production requirements.
Support tooling validation, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding tooling fabrication and modifications.
Review engineering specifications, product designs,



and installation requirements to develop effective tooling solutions.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions related to tooling or installation issues.
Maintain project schedules and provide technical support during tooling implementation.

Qualifications:
Licensed Tool and Die Maker with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of progressive stamping dies.
Solid knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T;).
Engineering diploma, technical degree, or equivalent technical training.
Proficient in using CAD software for tooling design, modifications, and technical drawing interpretation.
