Role Description

SYSTECH AV Canada is seeking a full time Audio Visual Technician to join our installation and service team in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This is an on-site, hands-on role involving the installation, setup, testing, and troubleshooting of professional AV systems.

Key Responsibilities
Install and set up AV systems, including displays, projectors, audio equipment, video conferencing systems, and related equipment
Pull, terminate, label, and organize AV and network cabling
Read and follow technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications
Test and troubleshoot AV systems and resolve technical issues
Support project leads and senior technicians during installations and service calls
Set up and dismantle AV equipment as required
Maintain tools, equipment,



and a clean and safe work environment
Document completed work and communicate professionally with clients and team members

Qualifications
Basic to intermediate experience in AV installation or a related technical field
Understanding of AV systems, signal flow, and cabling such as HDMI, SDI, and Cat5/6
Basic troubleshooting and networking knowledge
Experience with video conferencing, projectors, displays, or audio systems is an asset
Proficiency with Microsoft applications
Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail
Ability to lift and move equipment and work at heights when required
Willingness to travel to project sites throughout the GTA
Valid driver’s license is preferred but not required
We are looking for someone who is reliable, hands-on, team-oriented, and willing to learn and develop their skills in a qualified AV setting.

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
