Job Description

As a swimming instructor, you are our clients' main impression of our company. You will provide personalized swim instruction to a variety of different ages and swimming abilities. After every lesson, you will keep detailed notes about the progress of each swimmer, and provide explicit feedback to the swimmer's parents if necessary. You will answer client questions, problem-solve concerns, and report them to your team lead for further follow-up. We are a mobile swim school, which means we travel to our clients' pools to provide our services.

Responsibilities
Deliver protected and high-quality swimming lessons to our clients
Minimize safety concerns by eliminating hazards and setting clear rules and expectations




Arrive at each lesson prepared and on time
Complete swimmer skills tracking, report cards, and test sheets on time and with care
Provide clear feedback during and after lessons to parents and swimmers
Maintain the provided equipment and incorporate it into each lesson

Qualifications

All certificates and qualifications must be current or acquired 10 days before your first day of work.
National Lifeguard
Standard First Aid with CPR-C
Previous instructor experience is an asset
G2 or Higher
Regular access to a vehicle

Skills
Strong communication and leadership
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to manage your time and work independently with a high level of responsibility
Be a positive role model both in and outside of work
Have an enthusiastic attitude when working with children

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
