Process Engineering Assistant (Internship)

Reports To: Process Plant Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Collect, organize, and analyze production, quality, and process data.
Monitor Ni-Cr and Zinc electroplating line performance and key process parameters.
Assist with troubleshooting process, quality, and equipment issues.
Track chemical consumption, water usage, downtime, and production KPIs.
Update SOPs, process flow diagrams, P&IDs;, and engineering documentation.
Support preventive maintenance and reliability improvement activities.
Conduct shop floor inspections, safety observations, and process audits.
Prepare weekly reports and improvement recommendations.

Qualifications
3rd-year Engineering student (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Industrial, or related discipline).
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.




Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data analysis, charts, formulas, pivot tables).
Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
Basic chemistry knowledge, preferably related to electroplating, chemical processes, or wastewater treatment.
Solid communication and organizational skills.
Interest in manufacturing, process improvement, and industrial operations.

Process and production KPI dashboard.
Updated engineering documentation and drawings.
Chemical and process performance analysis.
Cost-saving and efficiency improvement recommendations.
Final presentation summarizing project outcomes and findings.

Pay: $23.50 per hour
