Jake & M Transport is a family-owned trucking company based in Southern MB. We are currently seeking a reliable Class 1 Livestock Transport Driver to join our team. This position includes a combination of local Manitoba & interprovinical hauls. We offer consistent, year-round work with well-maintained equipment.

Requirements:
-Valid Class 1 License
-Has livestock experience (preferred but not required)
-Clean driver's abstract
-Dependable, respectful, and safety-focused

Responsibilities:
-Load and unload hogs
-Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes
-Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
-Receive and relay information to central dispatch
-Record cargo information, hours of service,



distance travelled and fuel consumption

Documentation knowledge:
-Complete required documentation including logbooks, inspection reports, and trip reports.

Compensation is load based. Based on recent full-year driver earnings, typically estimated annual income is $80,000-83,000. Earnings may vary depending on workload, routes, and experience.
