Job Overview

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our door shop team. This position involves measuring, assembling, and preparing pre-hung interior doors for customers. The ideal candidate is comfortable using hand and power tools, takes pride in quality workmanship, and enjoys working with their hands.

Duties
Measure door components accurately.
Assemble and pre-hang interior doors and frames.
Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Read and follow measurements and work instructions.
Assist with other shop duties as required. Assemble door components using hand tools and power tools
Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to maintain product standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse or production area.
Deliver doors to customer

Qualifications




Good measuring and basic math skills.
Mechanically inclined with robust attention to detail.
Able to lift and carry doors and building materials.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Some previous experience in woodworking, construction, cabinetry, or manufacturing.
Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation, assembly techniques.
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, machining equipment.
Warehouse experience including forklift operation is a plus.
Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards and procedures.
Solid teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills in a quick-paced setting.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
