We are a newer pet retail and grooming location and are looking for an experienced Groomer to join our team. This is a excellent chance for someone who enjoys working independently, wants to build up a loyal client base, and takes pride in high-quality grooming and animal care. You will be our third groomer!

This position is commission-based, meaning your earnings are based on the grooming services completed.

Responsibilities
Perform full-service grooming including baths, blow drying, brushing, nail trims, ear cleaning, breed cuts, shave downs, deshedding, and scissoring.
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary grooming workspace.
Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained.
Prioritize animal handling that is gentle, patient, and stress-conscious.
Work collaboratively with store staff when needed.

Requirements
Professional grooming experience is required.





Minimum 2+ years grooming dogs in a professional setting.
(More experience is highly valued.)
Ability to groom dogs of all breeds and sizes.
Robust scissoring and finishing skills.
Must be comfortable working independently.
Ability to handle pets safely and compassionately.
Reliable & punctual

Hours

This is a new location, which means:
Some days may be fully booked.
Some days may be quieter until the clientele grows.

We want someone who understands the natural growth of a new grooming salon and can work with that.
