Wellington Foundry manufactures high‑quality site furnishing products including park benches, picnic tables, and waste receptacles. We are expanding our production team and are seeking a reliable, motivated individual to join us as a Foundry Worker. This role offers long‑term stability, hands‑on skill development, and prospects for advancement within our growing company.

Position Overview

This is a physically active, fast‑paced production role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and enjoys working with their hands.

Key Responsibilities
Making and preparing sand moulds
Grinding, sanding, and finishing metal components
Assisting with metal finishing and surface preparation
General manual labour in a foundry environment
Safe operation of hand tools and power tools
Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Supporting production team members as required

Required Qualifications
Ability to lift 50 lbs




Strong work ethic and ability to keep up in a rapid‑paced work environment
Ability to read a tape measure accurately
Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Reliability and consistent attendance

Assets
Experience using power tools
Previous foundry, metalworking, or manufacturing experience
Mechanical aptitude or interest in skilled trades

Work Schedule
Monday – Thursday: 06:30–15:30
Friday: 06:30–12:30
