Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child and Youth Worker to support children and adolescents in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in working with young people, especially those with disabilities, and possess experience in teaching or caregiving roles. Duties
Develop and implement engaging activities tailored to the needs of children and youth, including those with disabilities.
Provide emotional support and encouragement to foster a safe and inclusive workplace.
Assist with daily routines such as meal times, recreational activities, and personal care as needed.
Support children’s educational development through teaching basic skills or facilitating learning activities.
Monitor behavior and intervene appropriately to ensure safety at all times.
Collaborate with families, educators,



and other professionals to create individualized plans that support each child's growth.
Maintain accurate records of activities, progress, and any incidents or concerns.
Promote social skills, independence, and positive interactions among participants.

Requirements
Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
Prior experience working with children or adolescents in educational or caregiving settings.
Solid communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with young people.
Teaching experience or background is a plus.
Compassionate nature with patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Must be reliable, responsible, and committed to creating a supportive environment for children and youth.

Pay: $300.00 per day
