Job Summary
As a Deli Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. You will be responsible for preparing and serving deli products, maintaining cleanliness in the deli area, and assisting customers with their selections. Duties
Prepare and serve deli items, including meats, cheeses and sandwiches.
Ensure all food safety standards are met by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Assist customers with their orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
Maintain cleanliness of the deli area by regularly sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
Handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service at the register.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking products as needed.




Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Skills
Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and pricing calculations.
Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
Proficiency in cashiering and handling cash transactions effectively.
Solid food handling skills to ensure quality preparation of deli items.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
