QUALIFICATIONS

· Heavy Duty Journeyman Mechanic

· Class 5 License with a clean drivers’ abstract

· Ability to perform duties in a safe and efficient manner

· Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity

· Current and up to date first-aid and H2S alive safety certificates is an asset

· A valid class 1 or 3 drivers’ license is considered an asset

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections, on heavy truck and trailer equipment, in the shop and in the field.

· Engine

· Drive Train

· Wiring and light problems,

· Electrical diagnostics,

· Air system,

· Wheels,

· Brakes,

· and steering components etc.

· Complete required documentation and reporting for inspections and repairs

· Prepare work orders/cost estimates for service approval

· Conduct all job responsibilities in accordance with HSE standards, guidelines, and rules
