Dental Receptionist

Position Summary

Our established family dental practice is seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Dental Receptionist. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the front office. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, solid attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Welcome and check in patients in a warm and professional manner.
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails promptly.
Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
Manage appointment recalls and follow-up communications.
Register recent patients and maintain accurate electronic patient records.
Verify dental insurance eligibility and explain coverage to patients.
Submit insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims.
Communicate with specialists, laboratories, and referring offices as required.
Obtain and organize referrals, radiographs, and patient documentation.

Qualifications
Previous dental reception experience is preferred.




Experience with dental practice management software (such as Tracker, Dentrix, Cleardent, or similar) is an asset.
Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance billing procedures.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional, positive, and compassionate attitude.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.

Pay: $27.00-$32.00 per hour
