Job Summary

Based out of our Brandon Manitoba office and working underneath our Geotechnical/Civil Engineers, your primary duty will be supervising a concrete breaking laboratory.

Dependent on the candidate’s interests, other duties may include:

Geotechnical – Laboratory and Field Testing

 Aggregate testing

 Soil Testing

 Compaction Testing

 Concrete Testing

Geotechnical Investigations

 Classifying soils

 Field tests including Standard Penetration, Dutch Cone Penetration, Torvane, Pocket Penetrometer and Agile Cone Penetration

 Sampling from Augers, Split Spoons, Split Barrel, Shelby Tube, and Hand Augering

 Assisting Drillers

 Preparing Test Hole Logs

 Preparing Laboratory Testing Reports

 Assisting with the Preparation of Geotechnical Reports

Surveying

 Construction Layout

 Topographic Surveys

 Bathometric Surveys

 Drone Surveys

 Grade Control Support

Design





 Land Drainage Systems

 Utility Crossing Drawings

 Residential and Commercial Subdivisions

 Municipal Roadways

 Agricultural Plant Sites

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of concrete testing experience
Applicants must be in positive physical condition as the work involves lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 80.0 per week
