Position Summary

The In-House Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing practical and strategic legal advice on a wide range of matters, including contracts, corporate governance, employment matters, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
Provide legal advice and support to management on business operations, contracts, risk management, and corporate matters.
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Support real estate transactions, and financing arrangements.
Advise on employment, regulatory, compliance, and corporate governance matters.




Advise on legal disputes, claims, and litigation.
Develop and maintain company policies, procedures, and risk management strategies.
Monitor changes in legislation and advise leadership on potential business impacts.
Assist with corporate structuring, strategic initiatives, and business growth opportunities.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from an accredited institution.
Member in positive standing with the Law Society of Alberta.
3+ years of legal experience, either in private practice or an in-house setting.
