Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounting Clerk to join our team. As a Junior Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

Responsibilities
Perform various accounting tasks with a focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable and reconciliation of daily receipts.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting tasks

Experience & Skills
Previous experience as an accounting clerk or similar role (min. 1 year)
Related post-secondary education (min. 1 year)
Excellent computer skills and learns software and systems quickly
Solid understanding of accounting principles
Demonstrates initiative, is team-oriented, and able to work independently
Excellent problem-solving skills,
Must exhibit attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations (robust numbers orientation)




Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Must be reliable, honest and trustworthy
Exercises valuable judgment to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
Motivated individual who takes pride in a job well done
