Ozo Construction builds luxury outdoor living spaces across Ottawa — high-end patios, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, and full landscape transformations. In winter, we shift into foundation repair work, giving our crews a longer season than most in the industry. We're growing fast and looking for a Lead Hand/Foreman who takes pride in doing things right the first time and can run a crew like it's their own business.

What You'll Do
Lead and manage a construction crew in office day to day, across both landscape and foundation repair projects
Read and interpret blueprints/site plans and translate them into accurate layouts
Oversee installation of hardscaping, softscaping, drainage, and related landscape elements
Oversee foundation repair work during the winter season
Ensure work meets Ozo's quality standards on every job site
Keep projects on schedule and communicate progress to management
Train and mentor crew members on technique and safety
Maintain a clean, organized, and protected job site
Flag issues, delays, or site conditions to the office before they become problems





What You Need
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in landscape construction
Solid grasp of installation fundamentals: grading, base prep, hardscaping, drainage
Ability to read and work from blueprints and site plans
Proven experience managing or leading a crew
Valid driver's license (G) and reliable transportation
Solid work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in craftsmanship
Comfortable working outdoors in all seasonal conditions, including winter
