About Us Progressive Machine & Mechanical Service Ltd. is a busy, growing shop in northeast Winnipeg. We specialize in custom and production work for industrial clients, combining manual machining, CNC, and fabrication.

What You’ll Do: Set up and operate manual lathes and milling machines.
Read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints.
Machine parts to tight tolerances and verify with precision measuring tools.
Work on custom repairs and high-priority industrial builds.
Operate independently while staying part of a tight-knit, skilled crew.
What We’re Looking For : Experience: 3–5+ years in a machine shop workplace.
Skill: Ability to read blueprints and use precision tools accurately.
Red Seal: Preferred, but we value proven experience over a piece of paper.
Reliability: You have your own tools and reliable transportation (no transit access here).
Attitude: You take pride in your work and want to work in a shop that feels like a shop, not a cubicle.
Schedule: Day Shift (Monday to Friday)
Evening Shift (Optional)
