Handyman / Mechanical Technician

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and versatile Handyman who is comfortable handling both general maintenance tasks and basic mechanical repairs. The ideal candidate is hands-on, self-motivated, and able to troubleshoot a wide variety of residential, commercial, or equipment-related issues.

Responsibilities
Perform general handyman duties including repairs, installations, painting, drywall patching, carpentry, and basic plumbing.
Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment, machinery, tools, and small engines.
Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections.
Troubleshoot mechanical and maintenance issues efficiently.
Assemble, install, and repair equipment and fixtures.
Maintain a clean and protected work environment.
Keep accurate records of completed work and materials used.
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.

Requirements
Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, mechanic, or similar role.




Robust knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Experience with welding, fabrication, electrical work, or hydraulics is an asset.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work.

Compensation

$25–$40+ per hour (or salary based on experience and qualifications).
