Azul, Toronto's new Mexican quick-service restaurant, is looking for an enthusiastic Team Leader/Supervisor to join our growing team!

This location operates Monday to Sunday and holidays.

Essential Duties
Deliver friendly, welcoming customer service.
Take orders, operate the POS system, and process cash/card payments.
Answer menu questions and make recommendations.
Prepare and serve food following quality and portion standards.
Assist with food prep, stocking, opening/closing duties, and inventory as assigned by the manager.
Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards.
Support kitchen operations and stock and communicate effectively with the team.
Lead by example and help create a positive guest and team experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must possess dexterity to handle tongs, pots/pans,



and other equipment.
Basic food preparation skills, able to follow simple recipes.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Experience handling cash and POS systems (Clover is an asset).
Reliable, organized, punctual, and able to work well under pressure.
Strong commitment to professional presentation, personal cleanliness, and grooming.
Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of all areas of the restaurant
Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
Must be able to work weekends/night shifts.
Spanish is preferred but not required.
Must have proven supervising experience within the food service/ hospitality industry.
Food Handler Certificate (required)

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30.0 per week
