Apprentice Carpenters
To work at our Suncor 4.5 Project in the Fort McMurray area
SALARY: Up to $30.91-$56.16 per hour
OVERTIME: After 8 hours in a day, or 40 hours in a week
START DATE: June 18
SCHEDULE: 14 days on, 7 days off
HOURS PER DAY: 10 hours per day
PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday)
SHIFT: Dayshift
ACCOMODATIONS: Camp
DURATION: Ongoing
WORK SCOPE: Module, piping and structural installation
Working Conditions:
Full time, Temporary

Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
Requirements:
Must have a valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Certification from a recognized provincial training authority
CSTS 2020 Certification
WHMIS2015
ESC Elevated Work Platform
ESC Fall Protection
H2S Awareness
Confined Space
Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
Previous industrial construction experience is an asset
Responsibilities
Comprehends blueprint readings to prepare layouts including selecting materials, planning sequences and methods of work, measuring and marking materials to avoid costly mistakes or omissions
Understand industrial concrete forming and engineered forming systems to accurately build concrete forms, bridges, trestles, tunnels, shelters, towers, and other structures
Checks completed units to be sure they are level, square, plumb and the right size, shape and location.
Follow oral and written directions.
May perform other related duties as assigned
Complete all required safety documentation
Working at heights, in excavations and outdoors
Job Type: Full time
Pay: $33.70-$51.41 per hour
