Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Kitchen assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a rapid-paced environment. This role offers an prospect to work in a dynamic food service setting, where attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential. Prior experience in the food industry, especially as a barista, is preferred but not required. The position involves handling food and beverages safely while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages using established recipes and techniques
Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling
Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in compliance with health regulations
Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service




Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling ingredients and maintaining stock levels
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently without sacrificing quality
Follow food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures throughout all duties

Experience
Previous experience as a Barista, kitchen helper or in the food service industry is highly desirable
Familiarity with POS systems is preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Ability to multitask efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours
