AZ CITY DRIVER

We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ City Driver to join our team in. This role involves local freight delivery and transportation, ensuring timely and safe handling of goods within the city. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Duties
Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and forklifts, to transport freight within the city.
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling of freight.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to maintain safety standards.
Assist with freight movement, including heavy equipment operation when necessary.
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle functionality.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and records of freight movement.
Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols,



and company policies during transportation activities.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel to coordinate deliveries.

Qualifications
Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Experience in commercial driving, freight handling, or related fields preferred.
Knowledge of forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is a plus.
Ability to operate heavy machinery and perform basic automotive repairs.
Solid attention to safety procedures and compliance with transportation regulations.
Excellent organizational skills and reliability in meeting delivery schedules.
Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks related to freight handling.
Prior experience with automotive repair or troubleshooting is advantageous but not mandatory.
