Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment to transport freight efficiently and securely
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment, adhering to safety protocols
Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and delivery schedules
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep vehicles in optimal condition
Follow all federal, state,



and local transportation laws and company policies at all times

Skills
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for heavy vehicles
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes
Basic automotive repair skills for minor vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance
Robust communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
Demonstrated commitment to safety, reliability, and punctuality
