Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sushi Maker to work in a 2 person chef team to serve 24 seats 6pm -10pm. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi dishes that delight our guests and uphold our commitment to food excellence. Your expertise in sushi preparation, food handling, and kitchen operations will ensure a memorable dining experience for every customer. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary artistry in a agile, quick-paced environment.

Duties
Prepare a variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri.
Bring your own recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station, adhering to strict food safety protocols
Handle raw fish and other ingredients safely, ensuring proper storage and handling procedures are followed
Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and communicate needs for restocking
Ensure all food service activities comply with health regulations and safety standards

Requirements
Proven experience in food preparation,



particularly in sushi making or Japanese cuisine
Strong knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and sanitation standards
Experience in serving customers or food service environments preferred
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with cooking techniques related to sushi ingredients and presentation
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience within the food industry is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

This will be served counter style for 24 seats and take out. with one server and 2 chefs. Tips will be split evenly.

Pay: $28.00-$29.00 per hour
