Our specialty is providing third party Regional and Local Transportation services in Edmonton and Alberta while operating a fleet of over 25 trucks. We are looking for a revenue driving, agile and motivated Driver / Customer service manager to grow our customer base and drive revenue while leading a team of Class 1 drivers

Your duties and responsibilities would include:

Increase revenue by working with existing customers and dispatching the drivers

Leverage your already extensive range of contacts in the FTL and LTL transportation / logistics industries.

Participate and develop budgets for the branch while controlling and managing costs

Integrate all customer requests into operations to ensure customer service success

Customer service - handling customer issues and truck requests

Managing and working with driver team to ensure the dispatch, safety functions and maintenance functions are successful.

Organizing and managing the maintenance of the equipment.

Assisting and directing the billing / administrative team to ensure customers are being correctly invoiced and serviced

Ensure drivers and trucks are dispatched effectively





Managing and disciplining of drivers

Executing safety policy and programs

Must have flexibility in time management to ensure daily dispatch is complete and flexibility dealing with driver issues quickly as they come up.

Having a 1 license will be a benefit

We require that you have some post secondary education, good IT skills, excellent English communication skills. Significant experience in the transportation industry in customer management or dispatch roles or operations experience would also be a great asset. The ability to multitask, think ahead 2 steps and have a" get things done" attitude is a requirement.
