Are you a self-starter, looking to kick start your career in physiotherapy? Elite Sports Injury is looking for a dedicated and motivated physiotherapy assistant to join our Bridgwater team. The ideal candidate will work under the direct supervision of a certified physiotherapist to deliver high-quality physical therapy care to patients, as well as assist with office administration. This position offers the opportunity to work in a energetic healthcare environment and contribute to improving patients' well-being.

Hours Available: Monday, Wednesday, Friday morning shifts. Approx. 7/8am - 2pm

What you will do:
Demonstrate exercise routines and proper use of equipment for clients
Assist physiotherapist with patient treatment: apply heat and ice packs; removing modalities;
Perform reception duties, data entry, answer phone calls, and other administrative functions
Promote client safety by maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Maintain inventory of physical therapy supplies (check stock, place orders, receive supplies)
Maintain client records and confidentiality of patient and company information

Must haves:
Obtained or currently pursuing degree in kinesiology
Plans to apply to a Masters of Physiotherapy program an asset




Experience with teaching exercises with knowledge base and attention to technical detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to maintain effective relationships with clients and staff
Detail oriented and self-motivated with solid organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team

Pay: From $16.25 per hour
