We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in various carpentry tasks and a strong attention to detail.
Duties:
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard
Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials
Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
Select and evaluate materials for defects
Perform general maintenance tasks as needed
Experience:
Red Seal considered a Robust asset
Proven experience as a Carpenter
Proficiency in siding installation, flooring installation, renovations, decks, and restoration work
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Familiarity with hand tools and carpentry equipment
Robust attention to detail and precision in workmanship
Knowledge of installation techniques
Proficiency in using hand tools for carpentry projects
