Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Class 1 Truck Driver to join our agile transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy-duty trucks to transport freight across various routes. Your expertise in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 trucks to transport freight over long distances or local routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and placement of cargo
Maintain accurate documentation for each trip, including delivery logs, freight manifests, and inspection reports
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries




Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle reliability and safety
Follow all company policies related to safety procedures, hours of service regulations, and cargo securement standards

Requirements
Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and other loading machinery
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and load securement techniques
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on trucks
Strong communication skills and attention to detail for accurate record keeping
Physical ability to lift heavy loads, perform inspections, and work in various weather conditions

Pay: $35.00-$36.77 per hour
