Summer Student – Epoxy Flooring Installer Assistant

Kiwi Epoxy is looking for a motivated and reliable summer student to join our growing epoxy flooring team. This is a outstanding opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in the construction and concrete coating industry while learning a specialized trade.

No previous epoxy experience is required. we are looking for someone who is willing to learn, works hard, takes pride in their work, and wants to develop valuable skills in a rapid-growing industry.

You will work alongside experienced installers on residential, commercial, and industrial flooring projects, learning everything from concrete preparation to finished floor installation.

Responsibilities
Assist with preparing concrete surfaces through cleaning, grinding, and repairs
Help with epoxy and polyaspartic floor installations
Learn proper use of tools such as grinders, vacuums, rollers, squeegees, and hand tools
Assist with mixing and applying flooring products under supervision
Help with flake broadcasting, scraping, and floor finishing processes
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment




Follow all safety procedures and use proper personal protective equipment
Work efficiently with the team to complete projects to a high standard

What We’re Looking For

Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team workplace
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Comfortable working in a hands-on construction environment
Able to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
Valid driver’s license is an asset but not required

Experience

Construction, landscaping, painting, carpentry, automotive, or general labour experience is considered an asset, but training will be provided for the right person.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
