Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Lead Hand to join our team in Peterborough and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily construction activities on site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately.
Manage in office teams, providing guidance and supervision.
Monitor project budgets and schedules, making adjustments as necessary.
Conduct quality control inspections throughout the construction process.
Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for project tracking.
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.
Qualifications




Proven leadhand experience in residential construction or related fields.
Solid knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6.
Excellent blueprint reading and schematic interpretation skills.
Ability to manage budgets and perform accurate construction estimating.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams.
Knowledge of quality control processes within construction projects.
Effective communication skills in coordinating with various stakeholders.
Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
