Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant Church's Chicken team. The ideal candidate will have a passion and background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen understanding of food safety and handling practices. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality meals to our guests.

Duties
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
Cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages.
Collaborate with other staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Participate in daily prep tasks, including making sauces, marinades, and other components of dishes.
Adhere to all health regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.

Qualifications




Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Robust knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
