Duties
Prepare fresh ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and portioning to meet recipe standards and kitchen needs
Assist in cooking and assembling menu items according to established procedures
Ensure all food handling practices adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work workplace
Support the kitchen team during busy service times by organizing ingredients and maintaining station readiness
Follow food safety protocols, including proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients
Help with inventory management by receiving deliveries, checking for quality, and storing supplies appropriately




Maintain cleanliness of work areas, utensils, and equipment to promote efficiency and hygiene standards

Skills
Experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
Knowledge of food handling safety practices and sanitation procedures
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards team members and guests
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with food industry standards for safety, cleanliness, and quality control
Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is highly valued but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential
