Duties
Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment through proper washing and sanitizing procedures
Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning supplies to ensure smooth kitchen flow
Support the cooking team by preparing ingredients and assisting with meal assembly during busy service times
Follow food safety guidelines diligently to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all food items
Organize dishware and kitchen tools for easy access and efficient workflow
Help with general kitchen cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping,



and waste disposal to uphold health standards
Collaborate with team members to meet service demands quickly and efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude

Skills
Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is valued highly
Knowledge of food handling safety practices and proper sanitation procedures
Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, lifting heavy items, and bending frequently
Strong attention to detail in cleaning routines and food preparation tasks
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude under pressure
Basic understanding of meal preparation techniques and cooking processes is a plus
Familiarity with restaurant operations or the food industry helps in adapting quickly to the role
