Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors warmly, establishing a positive first impression
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using Abeldent
Handle multi-line phone systems efficiently
Verify patient insurance information and process payments accurately
Maintain electronic records, ensuring all patient information is current and confidential
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and mailings related to appointments and billing
Support the clinical team by preparing patient charts, and updating medical histories

Skills




Proficiency with dental practice management software Abeldent is highly preferred
Solid knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care and office procedures
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and insurance providers
Demonstrated ability to handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and efficiency
Previous dental office experience is recommended but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Solid organizational skills with attention to detail in managing schedules, records, and administrative tasks
