Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our aquatic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching swimming skills to individuals of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and educational environment. This role offers an opportunity to inspire confidence and promote water safety through engaging instruction and personalized coaching.

Responsibilities
Conduct swimming lessons for children, teens, and adults, tailoring instruction to individual skill levels and learning styles
Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and monitoring activities during lessons
Develop lesson plans that focus on water safety, swimming techniques, and endurance building
Provide constructive feedback to students to help improve their swimming skills and confidence
Maintain a clean and organized pool area, including equipment and safety gear
Communicate effectively with students,



parents, and staff regarding progress and safety protocols
Promote a positive and encouraging workplace that fosters learning and enjoyment of swimming

Qualifications
Proven experience in teaching swimming or related water safety instruction
Solid swimming skills with the ability to demonstrate techniques confidently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse ages and backgrounds
Certification in lifeguarding or water safety instruction required
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
Passion for teaching, water safety, and promoting healthy activity through swimming

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $22.50-$24.00 per hour
