Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Salon / Social Media Assistant to support our beauty team and enhance our online presence. This role combines front desk customer service, social media management, and retail support to ensure a positive client experience and promote our salon’s services. The ideal candidate is personable, creative, and detail-oriented, with a passion for beauty and digital marketing.

Duties
Greet clients warmly and provide exceptional customer service at the front desk
Assist with hair styling and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and protected environment
Manage social media accounts by creating engaging content, posting updates, and responding to comments or messages
Upsell salon services and retail products to clients in a friendly and qualified manner
Support retail sales efforts by recommending products suited to client needs
Handle appointment scheduling, confirmations, and client inquiries efficiently
Assist with maintaining cleanliness of the salon,



including sanitation of tools and workspaces
Support the team with administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations

Experience
Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles preferred
Knowledge of hair styling techniques is a plus but not required; training will be provided
Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok is desirable
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage clients professionally
Experience in retail sales or upselling techniques is advantageous
Ability to maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in a salon environment
A positive attitude, team player mentality, and eagerness to learn recent skills are essential for success in this role

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
