In this role, you will

Quality Assurance and Control:

- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes across the supply chain.
- Perform inspections, audits, and tests on incoming materials, in-process products, and final goods as needed.
- Monitor suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues or non-conformities.
- Report and monitor quality metrics related to supplier and product performance

Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, certifications, and standards.




- Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations and ensure processes align with legal requirements.
- Prepare and maintain documentation required for audits and regulatory inspections.

Supplier and Vendor Management:

- Assess and approve new suppliers based on quality and compliance standards.
- Conduct vendor self assessment analysis to ensure adherence to contract specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee management and resolution of customer complaints related to quality, ensuring prompt and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with suppliers to address and resolve quality or compliance issues.

Risk Management:

- Identify risks related to product quality, safety, and compliance in the supply chain.
- Implement corrective and preventive action plans (CAPAs) to mitigate risks.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics and trends.

Process Improvement:

- Develop and revise quality policies and procedures, ensuring they align with industry standards and organizational objectives.
- Implement and maintain an up-to-date quality management system.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain operations.
- Train internal teams and suppliers on quality and compliance standards.

Documentation and Reporting:





- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality audits, tests, and corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed reports for management, highlighting quality performance and compliance status.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and evidence.

Requirements

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality assurance, compliance, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or distribution sectors.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to supply chain and logistics.
- Certifications in quality assurance methodologies such as ISO standards, Lean Six Sigma, or similar.

Skills

- Understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and industry regulations.
- Proficiency in analyzing quality data and metrics, with the ability to use this information to drive improvements.
- Familiarity with developing and revising quality systems, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and ensure all standards are met.
- Effective in liaising with suppliers, internal teams, and regulatory bodies.
- Effective communication and training skills, with the ability to guide and educate team members on quality best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address quality and compliance challenges.
- Experience in developing and implementing corrective action plans for quality issues.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and priorities effectively.
