Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care to residents, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and contribute to a safe and supportive workplace.
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing team.
Educate residents and their families on health management and wellness.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to enhance resident care.
Ensure compliance with facility policies and BC health regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid LPN license in British Columbia (BCCN&M; Registration required).
Current CPR / First Aid level C Certification.
Previous experience in long-term care or a related field preferred.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Knowledge and background in Dementia care preferred.
