Our client, a leading UPVC extruder in North York, is seeking a Die Assembler/Fabricator to join their team. This role involves assembling, fabricating, and maintaining extrusion dies to ensure top-quality production for windows, doors, and decking products.

Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints to prepare and assemble dies.
Cut, grind, drill, file, polish, and assemble die plates using various tools and machines.
Inspect and measure parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
Repair, modify, and maintain existing tooling as needed.
Catalogue and organize die inventory.
Follow safety procedures (OHSA, WHMIS) and maintain a clean work environment.
Collaborate with supervisors, production staff, and participate in training.

Qualifications:




Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience with tools such as saws, grinders, milling machines, and drill presses.
Basic math skills and ability to take accurate measurements.
Solid attention to detail and quality assurance.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Effective communication skills in English.
