RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain kitchen areas with special attention to sanitation
Exhibit culinary skills by performing day-to-day tasks, and assisting sushi chefs
Evaluate quality of food product, prep items and final menu items being served to guests
Prepare sushi in the front of the house
Comply with Maki Sushi's food safety and hygiene standards
Other duties to assist Head Chef

REQUIREMENTS

Experience
Basic kitchen knowledge required
Experience in other sushi restaurants are welcomed but not required

Skills & Qualifications
Robust communication skills in English
Energetic – ability to work in a fast-paced setting
Team player – assist in a positive guest experience however necessary
Culinary - have basic culinary knowledge and prepare ingredients based on the instructions

Job Types: Part time, Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Experience:
Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
