Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the kitchen, demonstrating a strong understanding of food preparation and safety standards. As a Senior Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our guests.

Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Assist in the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques and best practices.
Collaborate with the head chef to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to guarantee guest safety.

Skills
Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant setting.
Solid knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes.




Familiarity with food handling regulations and food safety practices.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
Passion for cooking with a creative flair for developing new dishes.
Combi Oven experience is preferred
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
