Responsibilities
Operate pressing machines, irons, steamers, and other equipment to press garments, linens, or fabrics according to specified standards.
Inspect items for wrinkles, stains, or defects before pressing to ensure quality control.
Follow safety procedures when handling hot equipment and chemicals used in cleaning or finishing processes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use.
Assist with laundry and cleaning tasks as needed to support overall facility operations.




Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while maintaining high-quality standards.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly to supervisors for quick resolution.

Skills
Previous experience in hotel laundry or cleaning services is highly desirable.
Solid attention to detail with an eye for precision in pressing and finishing fabrics.
Ability to operate commercial pressing machines safely and efficiently.
Knowledge of proper laundry procedures and fabric care techniques.
Valuable physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy or bulky items comfortably.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities within the workplace.
