Responsibilities
Safely lift, carry, and pack items of varying sizes and weights, ensuring protection of belongings during transit
Operate equipment such as forklifts and dollies to move heavy or bulky items efficiently and securely
Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring all items are handled with care and accuracy
Prepare furniture and boxes for transport by wrapping, padding, and securing items properly
Communicate clearly with team members and customers to coordinate moving schedules and address any special handling requests
Maintain a clean,



organized workspace in the warehouse or loading area to promote safety and efficiency
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent injuries during lifting or equipment operation

Skills
Experience in moving or packing is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively throughout the workday
Familiarity with warehouse operations or commercial driving is a plus
Robust communication skills to interact professionally with team members and customers
Knowledge of forklift operation is advantageous; certification is a bonus but not mandatory
Excellent physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this role
