Responsible for safety and efficiently performing labour tasks safety and efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
Safety
· Work safely to ensure the safety of themselves and those around them
· Report all incidents and near misses, assist with investigation and corrective action
· Complete all Field Level Hazard Assessments prior to the start of each day and update as needed
· Complete pre-trip inspections prior to operating any equipment
· Follow all company policies and procedures
· Wear all PPE for the tasks being completed
· Maintain a high housekeeping standard
· Report any anticipated loss of work time to supervisor
· Refrain from participating in violence or harassment
· Report to work ‘fit for duty’
· Ensure all pre-use equipment inspections are done prior to use
· Ensure all Hazard Assessments, Protected Operating Procedure and Secure Work Practices are reviewed, and proper training is completed prior to completing any current tasks.
Administrative
· Ensure timesheets are completed accurately and handed in on a regular basis
· Ensure fuel is being entered as required
· Input repair requests for all items needing to be serviced
Operations
· Ensure barricades and signage is present to ensure the safety of the public
· Assist in spotting and flagging duties as required
· Saftey and efficiently complete all labor raking, shovelling and other tasks as required
· Safety operate hand and mechanical tools
· Operate rock truck, packer and roller
Knowledge
· Understand and follow directions
· Coach and mentor those with less experience
· Ability to read and understand blueprints an asset

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 10 months
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
